History of Lechnologies Research Inc.

Lechnologies Research Incorporated™ is a family-owned cardiac device manufacturer with a long history of product innovation, quality service, and dedication to the patient. The founders of Lechnologies Research – Timothy Lohman and Susan (Lohman) Wendland – have more than 50 years of combined experience in all facets of cardiac monitoring, device manufacture, and service.

Lechnologies Research was formed in 2004, following the sale of Cardiac Evaluation Center, Inc. (CEC) and its industry-leading cardiac monitoring services. Lechnologies’ leadership team served in key positions at CEC and continue its penchant for innovation, quality and patient focus. CEC, also a Lohman family business, began in 1978 as a Holter scanning service.

In 2006, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved Lechnologies’ AfibAlert™ Atrial Fibrillation Monitor. The lightweight, pocket-sized monitor records the user’s ECG data and then analyzes the data using a proprietary computer algorithm. For more information, www.AfibAlert.com
